Bonjour. We are so excited. Day one of the French Open. We are all wearing different color Lacoste shirts drinking café au lait and eating croissants. Yes it’s true. I’m having the usual beer. What brand. ATP tells me to say Corona… X-man tells me to say Stella Artois and Sven says Heineken. But Pancho says Corona. So Corona it is!!! OK so the party is on a Sunday morning??? Yes. First of all in America it’s Memorial Day weekend. So Monday is a holiday. This weekend is the official start of summer. Sorry I’m digressing but the beer it’s a buzzing….

Back to breakfast @ The French….. We had barely started our party @ our club when our 6 channels on Direct TV went dark…. Wow. That’s brutal. There’s still plenty of amazing tennis going on….. Shame on you direct tv. Big. Big. Big Bagels……

Tennis Channel. Thank you Steve Bellamy. Thanks David and Brad, and Jen … Came thru with tennis for us in Paris. Only complaint. Watching little bits of matches. A little of Mahut and Roddick. Now a little of Venus Williams. Where is our promised 6 channels…….? (Doing business with them is difficult at best )

Ok. We are partying away…. adjusting to one court coverage. We are in a contest for…. Who has the oldest Lacoste shirt? Best color? Best looking in their Lacoste shirt?

Everybody is having fun watching tennis together on our clubs big screen. It’s a great group. We are passing the word to try it at your club. Lesson learned. Start earlier tomorrow. Have fun with the 2012 French Open.

Word just in Mahut took out Roddick. We missed the fourth set after watching the first three.
