Yes. I’m here. All my luggage is with me. I’m ready. Ready. Ready. I’m here for the whole tourney. Thanks to all the friends of 10sBalls.com we have arrived! I literally have a different color Lacoste shirt for everyday. (Thank you eBay ) Matching everything. Yes, even my “shoe case” arrived.
Opening day of the 2012 French Open I’m wearing pink. It’s my fav and I might as well start on a big high note! It’s beautiful today. The weather is magnificent. The French are so proud to have so many great male players in the top twenty in the world. I think there are more Frenchmen in the top twenty than any other country.
I remember some GREAT guys like Arnie Clement, or the AmazeBalls of the Magician … The guy when you saw his name in the brackets next to your name you’d go UGH. The famous Santoro. Equally tough on both sides two handed. Such a master of shot making. A guy like Mahut that would play till he used every ounce and last drop of energy. Who you say?
Fabrice Santoro. Oh man he was amazing in every way. Big heart. Great talent. Fast hands.fast feet. Great anticipation. Great cat and mouse. Super return of serve. Spin master and vertically challenged @ 5’7 ” ?
Tops. Amazing career the man had. Such a maestro ! Bravo Fabrice !
French talent has always been unreal. Recent heroes. Noah . Forget. Leconte. The amazing Gael Monfils. The amazing Nicolas Mahut . The amazing Michael Llodra. The amazing Jo-Wilfred Tsonga. The great Gilles Simon. The young talented mini Fed Richard Gasquet. ( A backhand similar to Ken Rosewalls ) .
Ok. Tomorrow I’m wearing orange to cheer on Michaela Krajicek. Good luck Mish.
Gotta go it’s time to enjoy one of the greatest cities in the world. I love Paris.
