Now that’s a doubles match we would love to see on the center court (court central) at the beautiful Monte Carlo Country Club. When you see the players dressed in tuxedos in the casinos of Monaco it always reminds me of James Bond….
I think my teams would be Roger Federer and James Bond. Versus the spoilers of Rafa ( Rafael Nadal ) and Nole. (Novak Djokovic ) … bounce , bounce , bounce and wedgie , wedgie , wedgie ….
We would put Roger in the deuce court ? We don’t know if James Bond is a lefty or righty? Hmm? Makes it tough figuring? Ad court? How’s 007 backhand? How’s 007 at the net?
Ok. Time to stop dreaming and finish this column. …
Why does the Monte Carlo event get us all so excited. Hard to know… Is it the club? The club house ? Maybe because the principality is a one of a kind? Because the setting is so amazing? The Mediterranean Sea in the background ?
Updates: Andy Murray had an easy match, he beat Troicki 6-0,6-3. Fernando Verdasco beat Dodig 6-1 in the third set.
Jo willi Tsonga beat Kohlschrieber 6-2,6-4 .
Wednesday order of play has world number 1 Novak Djokovic playing Seppi at high noon.
Followed by Rafael Nadal playing Nieminen.
Followed by Bellucci vs . David Ferrer.
On the court Princes Bernie Tomic plays Alex ( Sasha ) Dolgopolov.
Looking at the draw we see in the dubs it’s brothers versus brothers. That would be the Murray bros. Play the Bryan Bros. (another reason to be there !)
Looking ahead in the singles draw we see Tsonga plays Verdasco in the next round. (we know Garrys on his way)
Now where is Roger ?
