In women’s news Maria Sharapova defeated Caroline Wozniacki on Thursday, and is inches closer to finally winning the Sony Ericsson Open for the first time; but she might face some tough competition from Marion Bartoli who defeated the No.1 Victoria Azarenka, breaking her winning streak this season.
