Indian Wells, CA – Novak Djokovic was steady in all departments as he dismissed Nicolas Almagro 6-3, 6-4 in today’s quarterfinal match. Long time friend and supporter of www.10sballs.com Dusan Vemic was seen sitting in the Djokovic camp next to Marian Vajda wearing our 10sballs.com patches! The world #1 said post-match that he was specifically happy with his efficient serving throughout the match as it helped him set up plenty of short balls and garner free points.

Almagro played a solid match and was able to burn Djokovic and excite the crowd with massive winners up the line. But in the most crucial points of the match, it was Djokovic who controlled the rallies and forced Almagro to come up shots he couldn’t put back into play. That’s one of the true strengths of Djokovic as he’s enhanced his ability to remain steady and patient during pressure moments and then go on the offensive. He’s able to gather points with either of his two wings – if he’s not beating you up the line with his backhand, he’s able to move you outside the alley with his inside-out forehand. Djokovic and his team will now face the winner of the Gilles Simon and John Isner quarterfinal match.
