The USTA today announced that on March 5 it will launch March Into Tennis, a month-long drive to get more kids playing the sport. Throughout the month, a record 1,200 USTA youth tennis events will take place across the country. March Into Tennis coincides with “Tennis Night in America,” which will feature Roger Federer, Andy Roddick, Maria Sharapova and Caroline Wozniacki.
Michael Chang has revealed that he has offered advice to New York Knick’s point guard Jeremy Lin, who has been taking the NBA by storm, helping him deal with the pressures and media attention that came his way.

Novak Djokovic is dealing with the pressure of trying to repeat what he achieved in 2011 by treating it as just another season. "To be honest, I'm not really comparing 2012 with 2011. I'm not comparing any year with another year, because I think year is different," he said.
Mardy Fish is comfortable in his role as the American number one, but it has also made him very aware of how well Andy Roddick carried the flag for so long.

Florian Mayer is to the stage where the points start counting. That makes it very likely, although not quite sure, that he will stay Top Twenty.
We haven't really seen Novak Djokovic much this year -- this is his first match since the Australian Open -- but there is no sign that he's suffering from rust.
Caroline Wozniacki is calmly looking ahead to the March North American hardcourt run after exiting in her title defense at the Dubai Championships in a 7-6, 7-5 loss to German Julia Goerges. The Dane who now stands fourth in the world after losing her No. 1 status in January, insists she's not concerned by the current state of her game.
The 2012 Texas Tennis Open, a Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) event, announced that MetroPCS Communications, Inc., the leader in flat-rate, no annual contract and unlimited wireless services, is an official sponsor of the 2012 tournament and the co-presenting sponsor of the Tennis for 10,000 Kids Community program.
Former top 5 Fernando Gonzalez will call it quits in Key Biscayne in a month's time, but despite suffering a series of debilitating injuries, the 31 year old did not come to the decision easily. "Those are moments that I don't want to live again," he told ESPN Deportes.
