I believe it’s obvious by now: the last two Men’s players remaining are Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal. Well, this is going to be one epic match, and a treat for being the first grand one of the year! It’s almost impossible to believe that Federer did not make it, but then again Nadal does usually beat hime – it’s just that Federer is probably the most loveable Tennis player. It’s a shame Murray did not beat Nole even though he pushed and gave him the toughest fight we’ve seen yet in Australia!
As for Women’s players: Sharapova and Azarenka face each other on the 28th of January (Sat. 12 am here in the West Coast). This is also promising to be an exhilirating match as Sharapova definitely has her share of Grand Slam titles and is always one of the best around, but Azarenka is a young rising star that may give her a run for her money. Stick around because we have all the latest coverage on these thrilling event, and you don’t even want to blink!

We all know Nadal can possibly take home the title, there’s no doubt there. We all know Nadal is injured—take a look at his right knee. But do we know how he took out the great Federer and overcame the pain in his right knee? Determination. Nadal is determined to win and take back his place as No. 1. After beating Federer 6-7⁵, 6-2, 7-6⁵, 6-4 in the semifinals, Nadal is now going into his 15th major final at the age of 25. Following his win Nadal was ecstatic; he now has the chance to win his 11th Grand Slam Championship. During Nadal’s match with Federer, Nadal hit 54 of his 75 service points to Federer’s backhand. What’s up folks! Last night the Ginepri and Reynolds match was postponed due to rain after the first set. Upon arriving back at the club today, Ginepri continued his onslaught and took the second set by the same score as the first, 6-2.
I was on court with Takanyi Garanganga playing a set, working on my game. Wasn’t too sharp today as I was a night owl last night and went to another NFL player party at a local night club at Ala Moana. My friend invited me and we ended up getting a picture with Dwight Freeney in VIP. Even thought I don’t drink, the lack of sleep gets to me and my game. [READ MORE].

Is Djokovic a Vampire? He certainly doesn’t die easily!!
We’ve seen some phenomenal tennis the last couple of days and nights from Australia. This second week of the Australian Open has been one of the best ever. As we get ready for a women’s final that promises to push both players to their limits and a men’s final that will have a hard time equaling the drama, quality and intensity of its preceding semifinals, but, nevertheless, is expected to be an epic, I thought it might be a good time for me to don my other personality as a “Certified Chiropractic Sports Practioner” and do a little review on the body’s “Energy Systems”.
We’ve repeatedly seen player after player who was seemingly unable to take even one more step recover and come back and not only take that step and many more, but even win matches they didn’t appear able to complete, much less win. 2 – 3 hour women’s matches and 4 – 5 hours men’s matches are not unusual at the Grand Slam events and the heat of the Australian summer makes them even tougher. Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka Not Fast Friends

When Maria Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka step on court for the Australian Open women’s final on Saturday, there will be no love lost between the two. Last year in Rome during Sharapova’s victory over the Belarusian, Azarenka allegedly called her foe a “bitch.” Two months before that, the two flew to a Nike exhibition together to Portland, Oregon, and did not speak a word to each other on the flight.
Both women are very prideful and have admitted to being mistrustful. While Sharapova and her representatives have done a good job of polishing her image since she came to fame in 2004 when she won Wimbledon, Azarenka’s team has had to work super hard over the past year and half to convince her that putting on pleasant face in public would benefit her. The temperamental 22-year-old is considered by some in the tennis industry to be one of the most difficult players to work with. Last summer she admitted that she was headed down the wrong path.
