Well, I’ve unwrapped everything under the tree and it seems my phone calls, hand written letters, emails and smoke signals never got through to Santa. No… I’m not talking about more Federer Logo-ed gear, I own everything ever created and I look fantastic. All I want for Christmas is a fluid, winner producing one handed topspin backhand that looks effortless, a forehand that connects with the ball so early it redefines the geometry of creating angles and a serve that makes a laser point seem indecisive… is that too much to ask for?

I hope everybody reading this got what they wanted and if you see Santa, please tell him to hit my cell.

PS- Don’t be fooled by the upcoming Qatar Open in Doha, some are playing this off as basically an “exhibition”, it’s only an exhibition for those who lose and a statement for those that win. 2012 is going to be one of the best seasons in the history of the game… sit back, relax and enjoy. I know I will.
