There are often crossovers between the tennis world and that of show business. Vijaj Amritraj appeared in a James Bond movie, as did Richard Krajicek’s wife, Daphne Decker. Anna Kournikova had a small part in a movie with Jim Carrey and made a music video that changed her life – it was with Enrique Iglesias and they’ve been together ever since.

Daniela Hantuchova had a cameo part in a Slovakian soap and Jelena Jankovic has been offered acting roles. Former world number three Amanda Coetzer hit the jackpot when the WTA flirted with Hollywood through New Regency Productions and she met up with and married billionaire producer Arnon Milchan, listed by Forbes as the 268th richest person in the world in 2011.

Now world number one Novak Djokovic has made his cinematic debut, filming scenes in Sofia for a cameo appearance as himself in ‘The Expendables 2’. He is in good company in the $80 million production, which stars Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
