Novak Djokovic believes his dodgy right shoulder is ready for the rigors of the World Tour Finals in London after physiotherapy and treatment on the injury which forced him from the Paris Masters last week at the quarter-final stage.

“I’ve been serving at 100 percent for the last two or three days,” said the winner of ten titles in 2011. “For me the shoulder is fine at the moment. “It’s recovered and ready to compete.”

The test will come in an opening Group A test with Paris semi-finalist Tomas Berdych at the season wrap-up. And that assignment will not be an easy one. “He was my first match last year,” said Djokovic of the Finals. “It will be tough for both of us. he’s had great results in Paris (semi-finals last weekend). He’s been winning indoors and likes the surface.”

Djokovic, who will end the year on No. 1 for the first time, has been trying to regain fitness following his runaway success through the US Open. He has been plagued in the interim by an abdominal injury and the shoulder.

But he said his motivation is high for 2012. “It’s hard to predict, but I’ll do my best to try and get as close to this year’s results as possible. That will be a really big task after this year of 2011.

“But I’ll take the best out of it and be proud of what I’ve accomplished and confident about what’s coming up. It’s always possible to get better. My game is complete but I still have room for improvement.”
