The tennis channel gave us a Monday morning present. This match. Milos and Julien…  The guys have been on court for two hours. They each have a breaker. It’s pure pressure. We can’t help it. We love Milos. It’s one all in third. More soon. ( Oh. Milos took the first breaker.)

Ace number 19 for Milos. Ok. Ace number 20. Milos has just held serve. It’s nice to see his curly hair back. And it’s nice to see him back. Poor rookie had to have hip surgery following an injury at Wimbledon.

Milos has one of the best rookie years we’ve seen in awhile.( more later on that. Gotta check with Greg Sharko.
Ok. Slug festival on centre court continues. Milos almost broke but Benny worked him over like a heavyweight prizefighter. He ran the big guy from sideline to sideline really testing that hip. Milos serves like he is the Eiffel Tower …  oopsie Benny broke him and leads 3-2 in the final set.

The players change ends. They sit on wooden fed ex  benches. couldn’t they have nice cushions ? I’m only saying … Yes geez says in the old days they changed ends and stood … True.

The hardest hold mentally is after a break….  Can Benny hold? It’s a hold. So benny leads Milos 4-2 in third. It’s a boy against a man. Milos is a big boy rookie playing a veteran man. We know the outcome. We see the body language. We hear the first serve clipping the net. 7th game always the biggest in the set. It will be 4-3 or 5-2. Big difference. The Canadian holds. Bennies up four to three in the deciding set.

It’s interesting seeing these ball kids clothes … It’s Paris. Paris France. The style city ? …. and the event has them dressed in blah  t shirts and baggy shorts. The Swiss indoors kids were dressed perfectly. Beautifully. Hello BNP Paribas. … Make a note for next year.

10sballs.com is impressed with tennis Canada. We were sorry to see them bring Milos to Davis cup so soon after his surgery. Milos is a thoroughbred. Not a workhorse.

Benneteau is ahead 5-3. Milos is trying to hang on. He does and stays alive for A few more minutes.

Benny is at 5-3 to close out match. Andy Roddick  awaits the winner. The wildcard wins 6-3 in the third. Wildcards are such wonderful opportunities to get ones career back on track. Rankings back up. Or getting a career going. Someone give Jack Sock  a break :) … No this isn’t his mum.
