Gday Mate. I’m in Sydney. What a great place… The Davis Cup has been Great. Smart move by the hosts in choosing the Grass.

The “rubber ” match to end the tie is a nail biter for all of Australia. It’s pits there Lleyton Hewitt against STAN the Man Wawrinka … We know Hewitt is a tough competitor but he has a sore toe …the score is he Is down a break in the fifth set. So its Wawrinka leading 4-6,6-4,6-7(7),6-4,leading 5-3 in the last set of the “tie”……to have to come back for watch might be moments of tennis ….but hopefully exciting moments …the warm up maybe longer than the rest of the match !!!!

We sure missed Mirka and the twins but now we get why Rog made a pit stop in Dubai on the way from New York… How many players have been flying around in Gulfstreams and BBJ’s (Boeing biz jets)… did Novak get a ride from his big Billionaire  Buddy Ron Burkle ? Did Rafa fly commercial? Did anyone? Andy Murray maybe …

We feel sorry for the Serbs. They lost to Argentina in Belgrade. It was weird. The last day of the tie. Novak had to retire with a back strain / injury. And so did Juan Monaco after losing the first set 6-2. Spain beat France in Cordoba.

Canada brought our Dear Milos back on court too soon. He needs that hip to heal.

10sballs.coms favorite X-MAN. Xavier Malisse and his Belgium teammates lost to Austria.

Japan beat India. Sorry SOMMY… Somdev  Devvarman

Korea beat Thailand. Sure glad I wasn’t a chair ump there. I forgot they don’t have to say the players names just the country…. Ready. Not made up names… Wachiramamowong.  (Glad I’m not using an iphone …). Or Siriluethaiwattana. Yikes. Those are no easy names. Makes saying Paradorn Srichaphan seem simple to say…..
