Hollywood CA: Both the RF Trophy Jacket and RF polo shirt make their on screen debut  in Showtime’s popular series WEEDS. The Showtime series find itself in it’s 7th season and stars Mary-Louise Parker as Nancy Botwin. The RF jacket and polo shirt make they’re stunning debut in this weeks episode titled “Weed Dealer”, where they do a brilliant job of  assisting Andy Botwin (Justin Kirk) who’s character as a hippy slacker is instantly transformed by the charismatic styling of both the jacket and polo, so much so that Botwin becomes the most popular member at a high end tennis club he’s trying to blends into. This reporter caught up the jacket and shirt and here’s what they had to say:

Rptr: What was different from this TV appearance compare to tennis on TV?

Jckt & Shrt: We did a lot of standing around on the set, the lights were hot and it always smelled funny. We’re used to gracefully gliding around the court as if powered by a twin turbo Segway without breaking a sweat.

Rptr: Will we be seeing more of you two either on TV or the big screen?

Jckt & Shrt: Since our debut we’ve been inundated with scripts, pitched pilots, offered endorsements and asked to sing some goofy jingles.

Rptr: So does that mean yes?

Jckt & Shrt: No…we are artist, we only associate with the highest level of creative excellence, which is why we will stay loyal to our higher power, the game of tennis.

Rptr: WOW

Jckt & Shrt: We gotta go….see that car? That’s the paparazzi.

So there you have it….in this reporters opinion the executes at Showtime have clearly been influenced by popular 10sballs.com articles The Federer Effect.
