Americans Post Strong Results At 2011 US Open

It has been a strong tournament for the American contingent. Overall, the U.S. crowned champions in five of the 15 championship events—women’s doubles, mixed doubles, girls’ singles, quad singles and quad doubles—and was the runner-up in two other events—women’s singles and girls’ doubles.

Here is a look at the 15 events at the 2011 US Open and how the best American did in each one:
