It will most likely be your fourth win in NYC. Its you and Sam Stosur. Sam played a tough three setter. She finished ahead by a few hours but was on court longer.

It was great to see Venus in the family box.

In the Caroline Wozniacki camp it was great to see Sven Groeneveld sitting next to Peter Wozniacki and next to him was Mats Merkel. Tough day at the office. It was not Sven’s night. Adidas master coach sat next to Judy Murray during Andy’s heartbreaker against Rafa. But Adidas did have a big winner today. Esther Vergeer.! Also the mixed winners are Team Adidas too. Melanie Oudin had designed her Adidas shoes. Jack Sock trained for Kalamazoo and the US Open with Mats Merkel in Las Vegas about four or five weeks ago.

Very cool for both Melanie and Jack. So young and. Now having a slam. John McEnroe and Mary Carillo said it reminded them of them. That’s so cool. Yes. Macs first slam was a mixed. And for Mary that was her swan song.

Good luck tomorrow Serena. You should have filled Grand central station with trophies with your talent.
