Sven Groeneveld Director of the Adidas High Performance team is having a great 2011 US open. Sven created a great team. He has always has Jim Latham (a brilliant visionary and star in the industry) to stand with him in all his decisions.

Svens addition of his number one helper Mats Merkel of Germany(no relation) has proven outstanding. The dynamic duo are also known as” the brothers by different mothers” … Darren Cahill is a great member of the team as is Gil Reyes…. there’s a bigger support staff…. You also have trainers /coaches like Floris Minnaert….or Damian Prasad.

I think those guys all have three stripes branded on them somewhere ….

Jack Sock is on with Andy Roddick. Lots of testosterone on that court. It’s early in the first set we will keep you posted.
