IRENE. You were Mean. More than 4 million people without POWER in the tri-state area. But no power out in Manhattan! Thank god. It would have been terrible if they had to turn the power grids off……. It’s sunrise in NYC. You are now a Tropical storm. No more Hurricane…. The Big Apple is a Big Apple Core…..

IRENE. You made a mess. You wreaked havoc on the eastern seaboard.

It’s going to take some time to get trees off streets. Crushed property. Flooding. Erosion. What a mess.

Power : we’ve been told that if the power is shut off. That it takes two days to get the grid back up? So I sure think the US Open is being very optimistic putting out their Monday schedule out already…..

No word on the BJK National Tennis Center but by the looks of it. It looks. Ok. Mayor Bloomberg. You are no friend of tennis!
