Which is better for the sport? The fans? The players? The game?… Big empty stadiums and show courts or smaller full stadium courts?

I’ll never forget the first time I saw the Indian Wells tennis stadium… I still don’t see the Gardens though? It’s still a big dumb stadium… It just is! Poorly planned, too big, and you can’t see the players’ faces and you can barely see them from the halfway point in the “bowl.” This just means it’s better to stay home and watch on TV. Thanks to the tennis gods, tennis still has some small great stadiums and venues. The new (not-so-new-anymore) court one @ Wimby as well as the most famous court on the planet. Center Court @Wimby …… Super design! The clubhouse court at Queens. The stadiums @ Monte Carlo. At Rome. The list goes on. So you either have full small stadiums with great feel for the match. Or you have soccer size stadiums that lack energy ? What do you think. Sound off below.
