MISSTRESS BARBARA TO PERFORM LIVE AT THE ROGERS CUP WITH GIRLS ON A DUCATI
Montréal, August 6, 2011 – Eugène Lapierre, the director of the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank, is
pleased to announce that internationally renowned DJ and producer Misstress Barbara – who has also made a
name for herself as a singer with radio hits like I’m Running (with Sam Roberts) and Et il bat – will perform live with
her group Girls on a Ducati for tennis fans at the Rogers Cup on Friday, August 12 at the end of the evening
session.
“I’m a huge tennis fan, and to be able to combine my passion and profession is a great privilege,” said the DJ. In
addition to her open-air concert on Friday, Misstress Barbara composed the 2011 Rogers Cup theme, which will be
played at the beginning of each match on Centre Court as the players are presented.
Misstress Barbara will also be part of the Player Party, providing the music for the runway show by Chiccane.com.

Record numbers
Today, the Rogers Cup posted a new attendance record for the first day of the qualifying round as 18 067 fans
descended upon Uniprix Stadium. The action continues tomorrow with great players, as Nicolas Almagro and David
Nalbandian (10 a.m.), Andy Murray (11 a.m.), Novak Djokovic (noon) and Roger Federer (2 p.m.) train on Centre
Court.

présentation des joueurs sur le Court central au début de chaque match.

La Coupe Rogers a accueilli une assistance record pour une première journée de qualifications alors que 18 067
personnes sont venues au Stade Uniprix aujourd’hui. Le tournoi se poursuit demain avec entre autres Nicolas
