Montreal, August 3, 2011 – The qualifying rounds for the 2011 Rogers Cup presented by National Bank

will get underway on Saturday at Uniprix Stadium in Montreal. A strong field that includes several Top 50

players, including world no. 35 John Isner of the United States, will try and earn a coveted spot in the

main draw of the first ATP Masters 1000 event of the summer hard court season.

Adrian Mannarino of France, world no. 51 Finland’s Jarkko Nieminen and world no. 55 Ernests Gulbis of

Latvia. Gulbis was crowned champion last week at the ATP event in Los Angeles, defeating the likes of

Juan Martin Del Potro and Mardy Fish en route to his second career title. Forner Rogers Cup semifinalist

Radek Stepanek will also be among the 28 players competing on opening weekend.

Free admission for Family Weekend

From Friday August 5 to Sunday August 7, admission is free for fans who want to come out to Jarry Park
