Continued Series Success: Two of Wednesday’s winners advanced to their second straight Olympus US Open Series quarterfinal. Yen-Hsun Lu reached the quarterfinals last week in Atlanta, while Gilles Muller reached the semifinals. They are assured of being joined by one other Atlanta quarterfinalist, as Thursday night’s match features the Atlanta champion, Mardy Fish, and a semifinalist, Gilles Muller.

Randy Jackson Presents The Canyons: Before play begins Friday night, music will fill the LA Tennis Center as Randy Jackson Presents the Canyons. The Canyons started in the imagination of Jackson as a collaboration of solo artists, namely Alisan Porter, Ilsey Juber and Jordan Lawhead.

2011 Tournament Honoree: On Saturday evening, Peter Fleming, the Farmers Classic 1979 singles and 1983 doubles champion, will take part in the Tournament Honoree ceremony. Fleming won 60 career doubles titles, including four championships at WImbledon and three at the US Open.

Television Coverage: ESPN2 and Tennis Channel will combine to show 15 hours of live coverage of the 2011 Farmers Classic, presented by Mercedes-Benz, as part of the Olympus US Open Series.

Tickets: Tickets for 85th annual Farmers Classic presented by Mercedes-Benz are on sale now through Ticketmaster. The Wednesday’s “Super Session” will start at 2 p.m., while Thursday-Saturday will feature separate day and night sessions before one session for the finals on Sunday.
