Rogers Cup - Querrey Withdraws/ Querrey Déclare Forfait
Montreal, July 26, 2011 – Rogers Cup presented by National Bank Tournament Director Eugène Lapierre
announced today the withdrawal of Sam Querrey, ranked no. 48 on the ATP World Tour rankings and the last
player to earn direct acceptance into the main draw.
“I regret to inform my fans and the tennis fans in Canada that I won’t be able to make the trip up North in 2011,” said
Querrey. “I am still recovering from my elbow surgery. I talked it over with my doctor and my physio and right now
pulling out of the event is what is best for my tennis long term. Best of luck to the event and I hope to return to
Canada in 2012.”

faire le voyage vers le nord en 2011,” a déclaré Querrey. “Je me remets encore d’une opération au coude. J’ ai
discuté avec mon médecin et mon physiothérapeute et à ce point-ci, me retirer du tournoi est la meilleure décision
pour mon tennis à long terme. Je souhaite la meilleure des chances aux organisateurs et j’espère revenir au Canada
en 2012.”
