Fan favorite Sharapova will be arriving in Palo Alto with the same impressive form that has won her three Grand Slam titles and 23 WTA singles titles overall. She has already won one WTA title earlier this year in Rome and reached the finals of both the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami and the Championships at Wimbledon. She also advanced to the French Open semi-finals in May.
The 2011 Bank of the West Classic will be held from July 25th – 31st. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 866-WTA-TIXS (866-982-8497) or by logging on to www.BankoftheWestClassic.com. Single-session tickets for the tournament’s opening round start at just $26.
The former World No. 1 will be returning to the Bank of the West Classic after reaching the finals of the tournament last year.
