Wimbledon final Sunday. What a fortnight. What a final. Novak Djokovic the matador vs the Bull Rafael Nadal. Rafa is the crowd favorite and will give blood sweat and tears. He will go five and fight just as hard for the first ball to the last… the countdown to the finals…

Whose your television commentator? Every country has a booth with their own tennis experts. If you were lucky you got a pair (team) of great commentators. A tennis match doesn’t need more than two in a booth “miked” @ any time. Some of our followers had direct TV with eight court (match) options. The feeds they connected to had some awesome comments. Also the respect to the ball in play. Or comments as needed not being paid by the word. It’s tennis folks. Quiet is nice.

We thought some foreign commentators were great. The Top of the list: Robbie Koenig (always). Jason Goodall. Greg Rusedski. Lindsay is excellent. Also, Louise Pleming and Darren Cahill. Aussie feed must be good. Conchita Martinez did some Spanish TV. We never heard from Tim Henman. Only thing we heard was he was greatly overpaid. We heard Brad, Johnny Mac and Pat Mac and Mary (not Mary Jo) and Martina …… Pam Shrivers. Chris Evert and Hanna Storm and Ted. Oh well…

It’s not rocket science. 10sballs.com thinks the tennis experts job is to fill the viewers in on interesting points… Interesting shots… Quirks… Nuances… Not do a running commentary. We aren’t blind. It’s not radio? Who did you like. Who didn’t you like?

Just heard from Indian Wells. We were told the Desert Sun listed that Wimby Sunday you can watch the finals in 3D at the “River” theatre. Be there at 6 am local time. They didn’t say whether they were serving strawberries and cream…

How were your T.V. Commentators? How’s Justin? How’s Mary? Mary Jo? How’s Boris?
