Wimbledon Day 11!
Day 11 of the 125th Wimbledon Championships featured some of the most highly anticipated showdowns of the tournament: Djokovic vs. Tsonga and Nadal vs. Murray!

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga pushed Novak Djokovic to four sets, although the Frenchman did not perform as well as he had against Roger Federer. Congratulations to Djokovic – with the win, he claimed not only a spot in his first Wimbledon final but also the No. 1 ranking!

Andy Murray claimed a set from Rafael Nadal for the first time in their Wimbledon careers, but the defending champion did not allow much else from him, winning the final three sets comfortably. The final-round battle between Nadal and Djokovic will be an intriguing one. Can Nadal defeat Djokovic for the first time this year?

Tomorrow, Maria Sharapova will take on Petra Kvitova on Centre Court. Although Sharapova is favored to win, we won’t be too surprised if Kvitova takes the crown. Who are you rooting for?

We still want to know which Wimbledon upset has surprised you the most. Was it Federer’s quarterfinal loss to Tsonga? Roddick’s loss to Lopez? Wozniacki’s loss to Cibulkova? Vote here!

Nadal Defeats Murray for 20th Straight Wimbledon Win

Rafael Nadal defeated Andy Murray in four sets on Friday to set up a final-round battle with Novak Djokovic.

Nadal, who will be seeking his third Wimbledon title, earned his 20th consecutive Wimbledon win with the semifinal victory over Murray, despite relinquishing his No. 1 ranking to Djokovic, who triumphed over Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in four sets earlier in the day.

The defending champion will next face off against No. 2 seed Djokovic, who has defeated Nadal four times this year.

Were you pleased to see Nadal win, or were you rooting for Murray? Will Nadal defeat Djokovic on Sunday?

Djokovic Overcomes Tsonga for No. 1 Ranking

Novak Djokovic is the new No. 1 player in the world, after defeating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, 7-6 (4), 6-2, 6-7 (9), 6-3 in his semifinal match on Friday.

The Frenchman gave the Serb a tremendous challenge as the two men battled for over three hours.

With Friday’s victory, Djokovic becomes the No. 1-ranked player, the first man outside of Nadal or Federer to claim the top spot since 2004.
