Super Dane Wozniacki To Play in Collector Swedish Open |

Caroline Wozniacki will participate in the Collector Swedish Open next week. The main draw will start on July 4. The tournament is played in the small seaside town of Bastad in the south of Sweden.

Wozniacki is competing at Wimbledon at present. Other Swedish Open competitors with success at Wimbledon were Flavia Pennetta of Italy and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez of Spain, who both reached the third round.

The main draw matches will commence on the 4th of July. The singles and doubles finals will be played on Saturday, July 9.

Last year’s singles winner was Aravane Rezai of France. She beat Gisela Dulko of Argentina 6-3 4-6 6-4.

Gisela Dulko and Flavia Pennetta defeated Renata Voracova and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova 7-6 (0) 6-0.

The event surface is red clay.
