Wimbledon. London. 2011.” Murray Mound”?
Is that the old “Henman Hill “?
It is the middle Saturday… The matches are back logged… but they are playing. So we need to find out the names of the hills and slopes of the area built by court one with the big screen TV.
Geezer says, it has to be “Henman Hill.” Geezer also says court two is no longer the graveyard… what does Geez know?
Just got a look at Nalbanian vs. Federer. It’s the first time in Davide’s career that he looks as trim and fit as he should have always been. He carried so much weight in thighs and rear. It’s gone. He really looks good.
Yikes listening to NBC coverage that Ted dude gets paid by the word? Johnny Mac et el. All talking during play. I’m so spoiled to the likes of Greg Rusedski and John Lloyd. Robbie Koenig. Jason Goodall. Fred Stolle. Dudes take a page out of their books… Simple… If the ball is in play… Shut up.
I wasn’t surprised at all how easily Roger handled Nalbandian. Also not surprised by Novak Djokovic having a tough go with the great Bagdatis…
Marcos Bagdatis loves a show court like a poodle loves the Westminster dog show. He loves the stage. The bigger the better. But he is no poodle. He is a Jack Russell or a bulldog. He bites and hangs on. Good luck. Bounce. Bounce. Bounce…. middle Sunday is almost here…
Pancho just asked me what is middle Sunday? Will Global Chick know? Deepa? Yes. But for anyone else… Middle Sunday is the break that takes place in the middle of the fortnight. So its not really 14 days(13) of tennis. Unless rain requires play on the middle Sunday. But the weather reports were wrong and we got a full day of tennis on Saturday.
So is it” Murray Mound”…..” Murray Mountain” …. Or the old ” Henman Hill”…….. And Sven and Mats thanks for the” CHEERS “
