Rain Rain Go Away |
Rain, rain, go away. Sven and his Adidas team are suffering through rain delays, scheduling changes, finding and booking practice moments squeezed onto indoor courts wherever you can find one. Transport changes. Theses kinds of stops and starts wreak havoc on the entire event. Players may need to be on site more than 12 to 16 hours. Players. Coaches. Trainers. Practice partners. Family members. Support systems. Been there, done that…
The weather report sucks. Rain is forecast for Friday. Saturday. And again on Tuesday. Play on the middle Sunday? (Sven wouldn’t say “sucks” that’s our Global Chicks Take after their encounter)
