Wimbledon Day 3!
Day 3 of the 125th Wimbledon Championships kicked off with a gripping battle between Venus Williams and Kimiko Date-Krumm. We hope all of you were able to catch parts of the match! The talented Japanese looked much younger than her 40 years as she provided the American with a brilliant challenge, although Venus ultimately won, 6-7 (6), 6-3, 8-6.
On the men’s side, Nadal, Murray, Berdych, Roddick, and Fish are all through in straight sets. But we were sad to see Milos Raonic retire from his match after injuring his hip … we were looking forward to a Raonic-Nadal match-up in the third round!
Juan Martin Del Potro had lost a first-set tiebreaker to Olivier Rochus when their match was suspended. If Del Potro wins, he’ll secure a career-best finish at Wimbledon. Can he pull through? Sound off in our Facebook discussion here!
Tomorrow on Centre Court, we’ll see Robin Soderling vs. Lleyton Hewitt, Li Na vs. Sabine Lisicki, and Roger Federer vs. Adrian Mannarino. Meanwhile, on Court 18, John Isner will face off against No. 16 seed Nicolas Almagro.
Caroline Wozniacki, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Francesca Schiavone, and Novak Djokovic will also be in action! We can’t wait.

Wimbledon 2011: Novak Djokovic Ready for Kevin Anderson
Novak Djokovic is ready to continue his 2011 Wimbledon run on Thursday, when he will square off against Kevin Anderson of South Africa.
The talented Serb, who is seeded second at Wimbledon this year, has already defeated Anderson twice in 2011 and told reporters that he is feeling ready for more success.
