Wimbledon and Rain. It’s really part of the 125 years of tradition. It’s a tradition to be rained delayed or rained out… Or rained on… it’s like going to Wimby and having strawberries and cream….. It’s a Royal pain in the ass?

I love rain delays. Always have! Why? Well it’s a great time to really get people to slow down to talk and visit… yup. That’s right….

I’m spoiled. (Blessed and lucky) I always have a player’s guest badge or media credential or both. So I cruise the players lounges or the lunch room or the transport area.

It’s such a headache. The poor overworked staff just gets more tired and overworked…. The players don’t know when to eat and digest their food. Everyone is looking for indoor tennis courts. A few minutes to hit a few balls…

I’m looking at the weather report for Tuesday… it’s looking better. Mostly cloudy. But Wednesday looks crummy again and so does Thursday…

Last tidbits. Happy to see Milos Raonic win. He sure is talented. Interesting seeing two Croatians play each other Ljubicic. “Luby” and Cilic… Saw Frank Johnson after the Mc Hale match. He was smiling… isn’t he always.
