Ready for Wimbledon!
The 125th Wimbledon Championships are finally here! There are so many thrilling matches to look forward to, and we are overwhelmed in the best way possible.
Most of the speculation and hype on the men’s side has surrounded our “big four,” but ladies’ singles is expected to be a toss-up. Will one of the top seeds win her first Wimbledon title this year? (We hope so!) And what can the Williams sisters accomplish at only their second tournament since their return?
We still can’t get over the Isner-Mahut rematch, which will take place on Tuesday. Make sure to set aside a good 11 hours for this one!
While you’re at it, cross your fingers that the rain will hold off this week. We are gearing up for quite a few rain delays, but perhaps we will get lucky. We’re not too greedy, though … after all, we’ve already hit the jackpot with Isner vs. Mahut.
It looks like most of our Twitter followers predict that Roger Federer will win the men’s singles title this year, but Rafael Nadal is gaining ground. Do you agree with the majority? Cast your votes now!

Serena Thankful for Chance to Fight for Third Straight Wimbledon Title
Four-time Wimbledon champion Serena Williams will begin her title defense for the third year in a row on Tuesday.
But Serena says that after the numerous obstacles she has overcome this year, she is not focusing on winning but is simply thankful to be a part of the 2011 Wimbledon Championships.
“It would be awesome and amazing to win, but that’s not my thought process,” Serena told reporters on Sunday.
