Australia’s Lleyton Hewitt will take on Kei Nishikori of Japan in the first round at Wimbledon on Tuesday.
Hewitt is currently ranked number 130 on the ATP Tour ranking. If Hewitt were to lose in the first round to Nishikori his ranking could potentially go as low as 200.
World No. 59 Nishikori reached the semifinals in Eastbourne last week so it won’t be a walk in the park for the Australian.
Lleyton had to retire in Eastbourne last week against Olivier Rochus. The former Wimbledon Champion experienced stabbing pain in his left foot.
