Grass-Court Greetings
What a week on grass! Congratulations to Andy Murray, Philipp Kohlschreiber, Sabine Lisicki, the Indo-Pak Express, and the Bryan brothers for their recent grass-court titles!
As many of our commenters have mentioned, players are forced to make a swift transition from clay to grass, and even the top players are showing the strain, from Federer’s controversial withdrawal from the Gerry Weber Open to Nadal’s surprising upset at Queen’s Club. We hope they get some much-needed rest, so they can give us their best at Wimbledon.

One More Reason to Root for Roger Federer at Wimbledon
Fans who are looking forward to seeing Federer reassert his supremacy on grass now have one more reason to root for the Swiss, as news recently broke that a seventh Wimbledon title would indirectly bring assistance to thousands of people in need of aid. Thanks to deceased gambler Nick Newlife, who bet that Federer would win seven titles by 2019, Oxfam will receive over £100,000 if Federer wins.

Wimbledon is looming on the horizon, and the top four players in the world are taking different approaches to their preparations, with some choosing to rest and recover, while others are pushing through to adjust to the new surface. Nadal and Murray opted to compete at Queen’s Club, but Djokovic and Federer withdrew from their warm-up events.
