I sure wish “Big Boss” hadn’t told everyone to call in sick and watch tennis. Now I’m working twice as hard in my little cubby in the press bunker. First we were hot. Now we are cold. First we got a lot of haughty “go-away” looks. That hasn’t changed.

I love doubles so if I have to write some more ill talk some about that. The fantastic Bryan Brothers from Camarillo California beat Jamie Murray and big Chris Guccione. Scores were decent 7-6,7-5. Jamie must not have had the double fault yips. Great to see the talented Frenchman Richard Gasquet get thru to the next round. It took him four sets to beat Thomaz Bellucci.

The dubs team of Bopanna and Qureshi beat Gonzales and Kei Nisikori.

Liesle Huber and Lisa Raymond beat Kanepi and Arvisson ?

Michaela Krajicek and Safarova won their dubs. Great Misa. Keep going!

Sorry to see Rebecca Marino out but she lost to a great player – Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-0,6-4. Ouch! Bethany has a bad day at the office. She and Meg Shaunessy lost to Petkovic and Goerges in three sets.

Wow. I knew the Tsonga/ Wawrinka match was going to be a special event/performance and it was… Five sets, with Stan-the-man winning. Great to see Pauly Hanley and Simon Aspelin win in three. Our picks were right on with Sorana Cristea. Great win today and big congrats to team Adidas! To Sven, Mats, Floris!
