Editor’s Note:

Sven sent us a “postcard”… Ok, It was an email. He is busy, busy, and busier… Basically we have to get through the French Open without his blogs. He just doesn’t have the time.

Those of us that read his daily blogs from the last Grand Slam understand… We realize Sven and Mats and rest of the team of coaches and trainers in team Adidas barely have time to eat or sleep, so writing a blog and sharing their days with us just adds another hour or more to the day. When those guys put their heads on pillows at night they are wiped-out. They’ve given all they have in the tank to the players.

Sven did graduate college in the U.S. but he thinks in Dutch. So everything is a huge effort. 10sballs.com and especially “Geezer” really appreciate all he has shared with us. We treasure his blogs. We all have been on a magic carpet ride through the insiders’ world of professional tennis. Our best wishes go to Team Adidas.

To be honest I never ever attended a full weekend of Davis Cup. So that is why I needed to take my parents as they also never experienced this phenomenon.
