Marcelo Melo and Bruno Soares won the Brasil Open 2011 doubles title on Saturday.
Melo and Soares took out Pablo Andujar and Daniel Gimeno-Traver in straight sets 7-6 (4), 6-3.
Brazilians Bruno and Soares and Melo won the title in Santiago last week. Soares has now got five titles to his name and Melo nine.
“It feels amazing to win in our house, in this great city. The crowd was unbelievable and the house was packed. It’s just a great city to have the opportunity to play in Sauipe and to win is truly amazing. We are both very happy,” Soares said.
