Bernard Tomic has advanced to the final of the $50,000 Caloundra Tennis International after registering a straight sets win over fellow Aussie Matt Ebden on Saturday.
Tomic overcame Ebden 6-4 6-4 to set-up a clash with fifth seed Grega Zemjla in Sunday’s title match.
Zemjla triumphed in a tight three-set affair against Thailand’s Danai Udomchoke 6-1 0-6 7-6(6).
The 18-year-old Tomic will be vying for his third ATP Challenger title having previously won titles in Burnie (2010) and Maccabi (2009).
It caps an impressive fortnight for the Queenslander after he also reached the semifinals at last week’s McDonalds Burnie International.
