The point is all the folders attend the evening. All A-listers. And best of all the “Hall of Famers.” All the people that comprise the sport. It’s a great show….

Symptoms: Missing those blogs, those blogs… Those Sven updates. 10sballs.com has heard from the best coach of this generation and the mighty road warrior. He is busy with his tennis academy in Amsterdam. His Orange Coach in Holland. He was also planning on attending Richard Krajicek’s tourney in Rotterdam. Go orange! Go Orange Coach! Go Richard! Poor Richard how many times did he hear us yell that…. Sven mentioned he might send us a blog

We are seeing some unreal depth in men’s doubles. The teams playing first and second round matches are so good that they could be finals. All of us that love tennis hopes men’s dubs survives after the Bryan brothers retire. Which we hope isn’t till they are forty!
We also hope the suits put back in regular scoring….

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
