Day 3 Australian Open

A bit later than the other days because it was another long day at the office! We started with a 9 am warm-up with Caroline for her match at 11 am! She wanted to have the court alone for a perfect prep!

We had Sorana Cirstea playing doubles with Soforava and they won their match in 3 sets! Floris and Biljana (the coaches were very pleased).

We had a practice with Maria who fully recovered after her 3-hour match from yesterday and as promised she took a salt bath (which improves recovery)!

Caroline in the morning really showed why she is number 1 in the world! In her victory over Vania King, she lost only 1 game! Her stats were impressive especially because she played aggressive but kept the unforced errors very low! At the end she served at her best and had a great 2nd round performance!

I got the back seat on our way back to the Grand Hyatt where the views of Melbourne park show how great the site always is! Especially on a day like today!

Sometimes we get lucky and were able to leave at 5 pm because everything fell into place! Tomorrow will be a busy day with Maria Ayumi and Sorana all playing!

To be honest I never ever attended a full weekend of Davis Cup. So that is why I needed to take my parents as they also never experienced this phenomenon.
