It is getting busy now before the storm and the days are full and filled with meetings, clinics, and practices!
Yesterday I ended up having room service and took a long bath to charge the batteries after spending 12 hour at the courts!!
Today we had a similar schedule but luckily a little break in between where I got a chance for a little catch up with Roger “the king” Federer! On my way to Australia I had a stop over in Dubai where I celebrated New Years. On the 1st, Roger played Rafa in Abu Dabi and I got to watch him there!
On my way off and changing courts I passed by the presentation of the trophies of the Australian Open and I could not pass by without taking a pic for the archive!
As I mentioned we now have 4 players having 2 sessions a day for an hour, so that is 8 hours on court and since the sun is out you feel the energy being drained from your body! I am trying to hydrate as much as possible as hotter days are ahead!
Tonight I will meet up with my good friend Peter Lundgren and attend our yearly ritual at the seaside to listen to a guy named Phil Parra! These are the little things of a long trip that make it easier on being away from loved ones!
Today the schedule will come out for Monday and it is already decided the top half of the draw of the women will play on Monday and bottom of the men on Monday!
Set your timer as the clock is ticking and Monday will be here soon!
