Day 1 Results of Davis Cup | 
After one day of play Serbia and France are level in the 2010 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group Finals. The event is being played in the Belgrade and currently ranks as the largest annual international team competition sport with 125 nations taking part in 2010.
The two matches today ended with wins from the headline players. Gael Monfils (FRA) defeated Janko Tipsarevic (SRB) 61, 76(4), 60. Next up, Novak Djokovic (SRB) defeated Gilles Simon (FRA) 63, 61, 75. The next match set to play is a doubles with Viktor Troicki/Nenad Zimonjic (SRB) battling Arnaud Clement/Michael Llodra (FRA).
