ConAgra Foods Rock-n-Racquets presented by CoSentry at Qwest Center Omaha originally scheduled for Friday, December 3rd, has been rescheduled for Friday, December 17th at 7PM. Andy Roddick is unable to be in Omaha this week as he attends a funeral.
“This week is a time my family needs to be together. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and support and look forward to giving the fans a great show on December 17th,” said Roddick regarding the new date.
Event organizers hope area tennis fans will be able to catch all the action in two weeks on December 17th. Tennis legend Pete Sampras and Omaha’s newest tennis pro, Warren Buffet, are more than willing to accommodate the new date.
Tickets for the originally scheduled date will be honored. Tickets are still available through Ticketmaster and at the Qwest Center Omaha Box Office.
For each ticket sold, $2.00 will be donated to ConAgra Foods’ “Shine the Light on Hunger” program. ConAgra Foods created the campaign to draw attention to the issue of hunger, which affects more than 71,000 children throughout Nebraska and 120,000 children in Iowa.
